This is a Fossil of a Gaint Cave Bear Tooth aka Ursus spelaeus sp. This piece is dated Ice age and found in the Carpathian Mountians in Romania.  This piece measures approx. 28 x 21mm: thickness is 18 mm: weight is 9 grams. 

 

The Giant Cave Bear lived in Europe and Asia during the Pleistocene and became extinct about 24,000 years ago. The Pleistocene Period is the geological epoch that lasted from c. 2.58 million to 11,700 years ago.
