This is a Fossil of a Dino Tooth that belonged to the Carcharodontosaurus. The is from the Kem Kem Basin in Morocco. This is from the Late Cretaceous Period. This specimen measures approx. 71 x 33 mm: thickness is approx. 15 mm: weight is 35 grams.

 

Carcharodontosaurus was a massive theropod dinosaur that roamed modern-day Morocco during the Middle Cretaceous epoch (93-100 million years ago). It is one of the largest predatory dinosaurs and is estimated to be larger than Tyrannosaurus Rex. The defining feature of these dinosaurs are their knife-like, serrated teeth.
