A Druzy is a set of tiny crystals of minerals that form on the surface of another stone. This stone in general is an agate.  Agate is known for its banding or striping. The name is given to any banded Chalcedony which is a microcrystalline variety of quartz. The different names either reference its location or color. Its colors are white, yellow, red, orange, pink, grey, and black.
