This cab is approximately 32 x 45 mm; thickness is approximately 9 mm: Weight is approximately 20 grams. The Druzy pocket in this cab is dark in color. Some light does penetrate the stone and you can see banding. We have had a few people look at it and there is a difference of opinion on wether or not it is dyed. We do not have any proof a this point that it is dyed but I do belive it is possible. 
 
Agate is known for its banding or striping. The name is given to any banded Chalcedony which is a microcrystalline variety of quartz. The different names either reference its location or color. Its colors are white, yellow, red, orange, pink, grey, and black. Can be found worldwide and has a Moh of 6.5-7.
